The objective of the project was to achieve stable serial production and production readiness for a deep-drawn body component within the Mercedes-Benz S-Class program.
Due to geometric and surface deviations on the stamped component, a comprehensive tool analysis and production process investigation were carried out.
Scope of Work:
– Tool condition assessment
– Correction of critical forming and guiding elements
– Optimization of stamping parameters
– Stabilization of the production process
Result:
Following the implemented modifications, the tool met OEM quality requirements and ensured stable and repeatable production performance in a serial production environment.
